Here at TechTrades we hold a fundamental belief that a persons hands on experience within the artistic disciplines of engineering and the associated skilled trades are intrinsically empowering and gratifying. Engineering, at its core is problem solving. Once the process of problem solving is known, understood, and practiced, it can be applied effectively to every facet of life.
By focusing on physical projects and problem solving we are enabling multisensory learning (VAKT, visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile), this is extremely beneficial in attaining and maintain the attention of the apprentice, especially for people who struggle with auditory or visual processing.
The desired result is a TechTrades apprentice with a thorough understanding of problem-solving, equipped with the experience and confidence to design and build themselves a rewarding future.
